Fashion Inspiration

Top: Express
Skirt: New York & Company
Belt: freebies with dress

My favorite sources of style inspiration:

  • Store Ads: this outfit is straight out of an ad. I loved the look and tailored it to my closet. I never would have added color to an animal print, but it's really cute.
  • Magazines:  my favorite magazine is People Stylewatch because it is all fashion and they focus more on affordable, everyday fashion versus expensive, runway fashion. I also like InStyle and Lucky.
  • Pinterest: I love that you can pin just the pictures and see all your favorites on one screen.
  • Style blogs of course..
  • 21 Day Challenge: I really enjoyed have a prompt to inspire me for the day and I'm hoping to find more challenges in the future.
With all this inspiration, it's a constant struggle to focus on shopping from my closet rather than just going out and finding a deal on something similar. But I have done really well this month. Most of my purchases have been from gift cards/ freebies so I'm proud of myself. I know my husband will be the happiest of all though!

I'm taking part in the Fashion Challenge this week. This first outfit is showcasing the animal print trend. Find out more @ Megan Mae Daily

You're the 3rd blogger I've seen today wearing animal print and pink/purple! I would have never thought to pair leopard with a bold color, but now I'll have to try it.

I love People StyleWatch too. I steal all my outfit ideas from magazines and bloggers.

I love this pairing! leopard and purple seems very unexpected together, but works so well. Thanks so much for joining us for this Fashion Challenge.

Cute combo! I loved the 21 day challenge and looked into doing this one too but I wasn't going to be able to do anything for the first day- leopard or snake print. I literally do not own a single piece.

You've hit one of my favourite combos with leopard: a bright colour! Love this look!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog! I really appreciate it. :)
