Perfect Short Sweater Weather

It was the perfect weather for this short sleeve sweater so I had to take advantage of it and wear this outfit that I've been planning for a long time. The houndstooth is navy and is goes perfect with the mustard sweater. Since I was going to be in the office all day, I was able to wear heels, too. 

I'm so excited to have be sharing these Anci Decor rings with you as well. I'm usually not  a ring person except for my wedding and engagement rings. I'm always worried that I'll lose a ring after taking them off to wash my hands. Since these rings are brass, I was assured that I could keep them on all day.  I asked for the personalization on the first ring and was surprised to find that I had requested my old initials from before I was married. It's actually an even better reminder of my past life. The "Love Life" sentiment on the second statement ring reminds me to be thankful of all that my current life holds.

I'm so into mustard yellow these days so I couldn't pass up the chance to pick up this scarf.  I wearing it shorter this time around, but you can also untwist it to hang below your waist.  It's so soft, light and love the shade of yellow that pops against all my winter neutrals.

Bargain Hunter Madness

I found this shirt for $3 on the Forever 21 clearance rack, but since they are always having bogo sales, I was really tempted on waiting for the next sale to buy it. Really, though? I think I almost went too far with my bargain shopping ways with that one. $3 for a long sleeve shirt that I need, especially striped in a cute color? I'm glad I came to my senses and bought it (and the brown/burgundy-ish version too :) ).

This is one of those necklaces that looks so much better on and in person than any catalog picture. It's my new favorite and I love how it looks with mustard yellow. My new statement necklaces are for sure going to my winter wardrobe way more exciting.

 I received my new glasses today so I wanted to go nerdy. I really only need to wear glasses when I drive at night so I don't usually wear glasses in my outfit pics. 

Firmoo contacted me to try out their website and offered any pair of glasses to review. 

I loved being able to upload a picture and "try out" the glasses first. I was able to find 8 frames that I liked and took a very unscientific survey within my household 

to pick the winner. 

I chose these brown frames based solely on how my uploaded picture looked.  Then all I had to do was add in my prescription information. I was a little hesistant to order glasses online, but the glasses look exactly how they look on my uploaded photo. If you'd like to try it out yourself, Firmoo offers the first pair of glasses for free! 

You just have to pay for shipping. 

Here's a pic of how my glasses arrived. It included a hard shell case, a drawstring bag, eyeglass cloth, a mini screwdriver and 2 screws.

I thought I wouldn't find taupe colors boots to replace my worn down favorite ones so I was so excited to find these leather ones at Ross. I found these awhile back and as always, they were in limbo in case I could find better/cheaper ones. Finally busted them out and was happy to find out they were more comfortable than expected. I love flat boots and shoes in general, so much better for all the walking I do during work and on my lunch breaks.

Just this week the temperature dropped 10 degrees and I'm already missing summer. I thought I would enjoy my new blogger perspective on my Fall wardrobe, but I haven't been inspired. I also haven't had the time and sunlight to take as many pictures. This is probably my last summer-ish outfit that I wore a couple of weeks ago so my blog will finally make the transition to warmer clothes as well.
