I'm loving the ornate embroidery in this dress from A'Muse Me Boutique. The colors are so pretty and it's detailed enough to forgo a necklace. The dress is light with lace along the top back. It's the perfect transitional dress. Cute with tall boots for now (and in the fall) and it will look good with some brown gladiator sandals and a boho straw hat for the summer.

My outfit today was inspired by the lovely shade of orange in the Enlighten bracelet. I got lots of compliments on my color choice, but it was the crochet detail that I loved so much about this dress. The pattern is on trend with all the laser cutting and perforation in clothing and accessories right now. I added in my dressier flat sandals and the python print purse to keep it fairly simple.  You can't really tell from the picture, but I also did a sleeker hair style with a deeper part to go with this outfit. Love how it all turned out.

I was so happy that this dress fit me, after ordering online, I was worried it might be too tight  or else too big. It's a tad big, but I could also wear it with a belt to bring in the waist. 

 Loving the full skirt and the orange floral print! It's perfect to wear for spring and summer.

Tribal Clutch

 How great is this tribal clutch? The clutch came in burgundy or mint, but I chose the black version mostly because it was the boldest pattern. It will go with everything and it even has a gold chain crossbody strap so I don't lose it. I've bought woven purses in the past, but after using them over the course of the summer, the straw would break and it would be the end of the purse. I have high hopes for this clutch because the weave is tight and encased by metal along the edges. Plus, since it is a clutch, I'll probably save it for date nights and fancier occasions.

Love, love, love this dress. I was so excited that it fit after I bought it for $1 at Susie's Deals. They don't have a fitting room so but you can exchange things so I figured I could give it to one of my daughters if it didn't fit me. The bow earrings added to the girly feel of my outfit. They are so cute and feminine.

I wore bows all around to because of the cute bow design of this dress. Even though I already had a chambray dress, I loved the bow cut-out and chose this fabric for its versatility. This is my first dress from Eshakti and it was custom made for my measurements.  I love the option of changing the design to your specifications and for this custom order, I asked for an "at-knee" length. It turned out to fit well and is very comfortable, but I added the belt for color and to cinch in my waist a bit.

Trends come and go so quickly..I'm sure I'll be really into it again when ruffles come back in, but for now..it was a good cool dress for summer at work.

We traveled to a wedding on our weekend alone and I finally wore this dress that's been in my closet for soooo long! I was pretty ho hum about this dress long after I bought it, but I love how the outfit turned out.  The accessories really make the outfit and I even matched mr. shopfreak, who wore a brown suit and beige striped tie.
