Windowpane Scarf

Scarf:  ℅  Echen, Inc.
Sweater: Old Navy
Leggings: Forever 21
Boots: Kmart

Loving this blanket scarf. It is big and versatile to add with some color to brighten up winter outfits. I love that the fabric is light enough that it's not too bulky and it's soft and not itchy. I tend to see black and white plaid paired most often with red, and even though I love that festive combo, I thought I'd picture the scarf with a baby blue
for a more unique outfit.

(I received this scarf for free, but
all comments are my honest opinions about this product)

Perfectly Plaid

Scarf: c/o Persun, $12
Sweater: Charlotte Russe?
Forest Green Skinnies: Sears $15, free with Shop your way rewards
Boots: Forever 21 $10

When Persun contacted me to do a review, I found so much cute stuff so I had a hard time choosing. My favorite feature is their lookbook because I always like to see products on real people.  I was especially into plaid this winter so I was excited to find this big multicolored scarf. Since I was buying online, I wasn't sure how it was going to turn out once I received it. I was pleasantly surprised at its softness and warmth. I thought it had more of a red to it, but it's more hot pink plus yellow in there. So cute!

(I received complimentary product from Persun, but all opinions are my own.

On Loan

Plaid Shirt: Land's End, free with Swagbucks rewards
Sweater: Macy's, old
Purse: Target
Leggings
Boots: on loan from my SIL

So glad mr. shopfreak raided his parent's house over the holidays to grab us some snow boots. These ones are on loan from my sister-in-law and I love the rugged quality. I wore them all weekend in Tahoe and might just have to snatch them out of storage to wear a couple more times this winter.

Down on the Ranch

Dress: Target, old
Belt: thrifted
Sandals: Target

Our staff appreciation lunch was a cowboy-themed shin-dig so tried to follow the theme with the chambray. We had a graduation that night and while I usually dress up more, I wanted to be theme appropriate and wear comfortable shoes.
Loving this dress more and more..it was a good clearance buy...

Madly Plaid

Shirt: Land's End, free with Swagbucks gift card
Skirt: H&M $7
Necklace: Simply Vera, Kohls
Shoes: Target
White Bracelet: Stella & Dot Julep, email me to order :)

I'm thinking I'm going to try to increase my posts every week since the weather is warming up and I'll probably have more outfits to showcase. I even have some spring and summery looks from last year that I didn't have a chance to add to my blog. We'll see how it goes!

Loving the dressy plaid look and a full skirt! Have a great weekend!

Finally Plaid

Plaid shirt: Land's End, $7, free using Swagbucks gift certificate
Sweater: old
Purse: Zara

Bangle: Julep $19 from my Stella & Dot website
Watch: hand me down from mr.shopfreak
Bracelet: Forever 21

I have been dying to find some plaid shirts and I was able to order this one from Land's End. Love it! It's almost as good as my new Julep bamboo-inspired bangle from Stella & Dot. I didn't think I was going to use it as much as I do, but it's the perfect layering bracelet. Can't beat the price for $19! I have a pink version, have a green one on it's way to me and will probably buy the blue one too. So cute!

The winner of the Pink Locket giveaway is Kelly! Congrats!
I'll be emailing you and you'll have 48 hours to respond before I choose another winner.

Started with the bag and chose the shorts to match. I initially had another belt on, but changed to this madras fabric belt because of the darker colors.
