All I see in this pic is crazy hair. How mr. shopfreak didn't notice and much less let me leave the house like this is beyond me. Good thing my outfit was looking cute!

I bought this shirt to wear with my big green Baublebar necklace, but it didn't quite work.  

I love the Fiona necklace with it though and the pop of yellow in the belt. 

This shirt was really inexpensive which was the best way to try out the peplum trend. I like the look, but I don't like the having an elasticized middle. I felt like I was continually pulling the shirt down and having to readjust all the time is not my idea of a successful outfit. 

I should have known because I have a dropped waist peasant shirt that has the same type 

of gathering and that too,  is a pain to wear. Hopefully, I'll remember this before I buy something else I find on super clearance.

My love for ikat and tribal prints continues with this dress. Liking this print in green! 

It's the perfect spring dress because of the longer tabbed sleeves and lightweight feel. 

 I realized after that I extended the chevron print in my bracelet, necklace and purse.

I tend to wear the same neutral shoes and purses often so I thought I'd change it up this time and hopefully use more things from my closet. I'm also on the hunt to light neutral flats or micro wedges to replace my linen work wedges. I wish I could wear higher wedges, but I do too much walking for my job and at my lunch break. I probably should just keep some flats in my car, but it's just one more thing to keep track of.

My Zara store is about an hour away and so whenever I'm there and there is a sale, I kinda feel the pressure to come home with something. Not rational, not ideal, but it happens :)

Good thing I love my impulse buy... the embroidery is so pretty and it has that indigenous, tribal-y feel I'm attracted to. This one kinda reminds me of Hawaiian quilts. This whole outfit makes me happy: embroidery, orange and gold! Love!

Since I'm a Bravo addict, my whole DVR list might be because of Andy Cohen. I really liked him on all the Housewives reunion shows, but he's even better on What What Happens Live. I love the mix of random guests!
