I'd wear tropical prints anyday, everyday. When it's hot outside, why not dress like you are on vacation? This is one of my favorite dresses, it's so easy and breezy. Add my summer staples: flip flops and straw bag, let's go!

Splurge Worthy

This purse is probably my biggest splurge ever and well worth it. I love the shape and style of it, but mostly it's all about the python print.  I really only splurge on myself for presents from mr. shopfreak for my birthday, anniversary, and other big holidays, but it's been almost a year since I've found something splurge worthy. Not sure what that means...but I'll probably make up for it somehow, some way...

Pop of Green

This dress looks so much cuter to me with the pop of green. I tried it with a white cardi and it was soo ho-hum. Loving this about the dress: 1) tribal-ish print, 2) full skirt,  3) feminine shape, and  4) stiffer fabric that I'm hoping won't need any ironing :)

When I opened my BaubleBar box, I was a little taken aback with how big this necklace was, but as soon as I put it on, I liked it so much better! It's perfect with this dress!

My love of animal print continues :)

 I ordered this online and was very excited to find that it was actually a ZARA skirt, 

but then I felt like it was a little small and short for me.  

Oh, the woes of online shopping :(

 I brought purple flats to work and felt so much more comfortable 

when I changed into them.  I still love the print and 

it will be duly noted to always wear flats with this skirt.

Date Night!

We had a gift certificate to a fancy shmansy restaurant on this night so I was happy to get semi-dressed up despite the rain. I wore a simple outfit to focus on my new tribal statement necklace. I wish we could have taken advantage of being out on our own, but the rain shortened our time to walk around downtown. Still a lovely evening with mr.shopfreak, nonetheless.

I've had this accessories combo in my head for a long time and I love how it came together with the green dress. I was initially thinking I would do a neutral outfit with all the tribal accessories, but it works really well with the green. 

I also wore green for a possible EBEW post for March and/or a St. Patrick's Day post, but I am a true lagger! My uploading has a week-to-a-month lag so my outfits are far from real-time. I do like the cushion, though, because I don't always take pictures of every outfit.
