Tribal Yellow

Shirt: PacSun
Skirt: Forever 21
Necklace: Kohls
Shoes: Sears

Scarf: 2 ways

Necklace: Fallas $1
Tank: ?
Skirt: American Apparel $6

I've seen a few outfits and a video of this idea of wearing a scarf like a vest, but it wasn't until I saw a store display that I wanted to try it out for myself. I asked a store associate for a reminder tutorial and had to try it when I received this watercolor scarf
from Bangles of Bombay. I love the multicolor print and how light and airy this scarf is so I can wear it year-round. It's big enough that I'll be able to use it as a sarong and more traditionally as a neck scarf in other seasons. I have to say that I like this look the best and will have to try it with other scarves in the future.

Scarf as Headband: Purple Indian Silk Scarf $25 c/o Bangles of Bombay
Dress: Loft, $5 old

With the Indian Silk Scarf, I went for another untraditional look by using it as a head scarf. Since it is silk, it is so soft and could be tightened easily around my head.
The purple is so pretty and went well with my bracelets. Thank you Bangles of Bombay!

Here's the bangles I wore with the Watercolor Scarf:

Enlightened

Dress: JCPenney $5
Purse: H&M $5
Shoes: Ross $12

My outfit today was inspired by the lovely shade of orange in the Enlighten bracelet. I got lots of compliments on my color choice, but it was the crochet detail that I loved so much about this dress. The pattern is on trend with all the laser cutting and perforation in clothing and accessories right now. I added in my dressier flat sandals and the python print purse to keep it fairly simple.  You can't really tell from the picture, but I also did a sleeker hair style with a deeper part to go with this outfit. Love how it all turned out.

Bracelet: Stella & Dot Enlighten $39

A big thank you to Lena for the bracelet. Love the color and the simplicity of the bracelet, but mostly, I love the bracelet because the proceeds benefit an organization that supports women. I love when you can use your purchasing power to support a cause. Lena is hoping to sell at least 20 Enlighten bracelets and is raffling off hostess rewards on the following trunk show (pending qualifying sales): http://www.stelladot.com/ts/k3f06
Please support Every Women Counts and read more about how far
the proceed money will go. These bracelets are going quick and can only be ordered until August 7th (and will be shipped on Oct 1st). You can purchase it again on 10/1 when they  have more in stock, so if you want one, order now and check out the other promos for the month as well!
