I ordered this necklace because it looked vintage to me, but I could also see wearing it with boho outfits. This time, I wanted to wear a simple dress to highlight the necklace.
A swishable skirt for #StyleMeJuly... I would have worn this outfit closer to the fall because of the colors, but now I get extra use out of these pieces because of the fashion challenge. Always a good thing in my book :)
Channeling Audrey Hepburn for #StyleMeJuly. I didn't want to do the typical little black dress, so I went for stripes and a side pony from a pic I've seen of her. Of course, I couldn't find the pic, but I found these ones instead...she is so pretty :)
Just finished reading "Fifth Ave, 5 am" for #StyleMeSmartly about the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany's". I had high hopes for the book and the online book group, but even though I finished it, I found it was just semi-interesting. I do want to borrow the movie again so I can piece together stories from the book and my vague recollection of the movie.
Happy 4th of July! Spent the morning along the water with my fave breakfast, a donut and coffee :) The rest of our day may be lunch out, a parade and fireworks.
Regardless, I'm just happy I'm off for the next 5 days..
Love dresses that are a blank canvas. I went neutral/ natural this time and I'll probably post more outfits with this dress over time. It's one of my favorite dresses because it's comfortable and has a pattern and sheen that makes it a little more special than the average dress.
